Exit in the Community

Over $1 Million donated to date in both Canada and the US

EXIT Realty Corp. International is very proud of its association with Habitat for Humanity, EXIT's charity of choice.  "Our beliefs are very similar", says Cindy Szinegh, EXIT's Vice President of Corporate Services.  "We both believe in giving a 'hand up' not a 'hand out' to people who want more in their lieves.  As EXIT provides a hand up to our Associates through training unmatched in the industry and the opportunity to enhance their income through residuals, Habitat gives a hand up by providing interest-free mortgages to qualified families who may not otherwise know the pride of home ownership".

A portion of every transaction fee collected by EXIT International is applied to our charitable fund.

Sponsors and donors included major national corporations such as Kroger and Coca-Cola,as well as a group of 7th graders from Little Rock 1st Baptist Church who donated $40 to the fundraiser. Golfers were treated to lunch, prizes, excellent weather, and drinks, provided by All-American Title & Abstract Company. The top three teams in both flights were awarded prizes equaling $1,800. Prizes were also awarded to individual golfers for Closest to the Pin, Longest Drive and Most Accurate Drive.

A total of over $2,000 was raised for this most worthy cause. “Everyone had a great time, and I am so appreciative to everyone involved for helping us raise the awareness of Landau-Kleffner Syndrome,” said Scott Deaton, Broker/Owner of Exit Realty Deaton Group.  Deaton continued, “A huge ‘Thank You’ goes to Jeff Scherrey, REO Director for Exit Realty Deaton Group, as it was his vision and hard work that created and coordinated the entire event.”

Scott Deaton’s son, Crosse, was diagnosed with LKS in 2004 at the age of 3, and is currently experiencing a wonderful recovery from the rare disorder of Landau-Kleffner Syndrome.  “I am excited with our results from our inaugural event. Military Appreciation Day Scheduled for Cabot

Exit Realty Deaton Group Cabot Sponsors Special Community Event

Cabot, AR (Grassroots Newswire)3-22-2008What started out as a local subdivision occasion to honor its military service men & women, quickly grew into a city-wide event being promoted throughout Cabot and Central Arkansas that will be held April 12th, 2008, from 6:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m., at the Veteran’s Community Center (across from Cabot High School).

“This started out as a small community event for the subdivision I live in and am Secretary and Treasurer for, Magness Creek, and has quickly turned into a big event for the Central Arkansas area”, says Cherie Simpson, Realtor with Exit Realty Deaton Group and organizer for the event.

"Supporting our troops is something that I feel very strongly about.  My father is retired Air Force, and I have several family members; grandparents, uncles, cousins, etc., in all branches of the military, that have served, or are serving our country.  Most of my neighbors are military, so that makes this event even more important to me.  Our military personnel are missing the births of their children, holidays, weddings, birthdays, anniversaries and many other important family events.”

“This is just a small way to give back to them and to let them know that we appreciate all that they do for us year round.  We are hoping that the Military Appreciation Day will be a HUGE success, thanks to all of the help from several community sponsors and the rest of the folks hosting this event.”

“Exit is not your typical real estate company,” says Scott Deaton, Broker/Owner for Exit Realty Deaton Group. “We train our agents to be good people and servants to their community, and then they will be great agents.  This is another example of why Exit Realty is Real Estate Re-invented.”

“The event is free to the public, but we want to collect “Treats for the Troops””, says Cherie Simpson.  “Money donations and items collected will be sent overseas to support our active troops.  Special requests made by some of our troops include, Board Games, Tootsie Rolls (no candy bars please– they melt), hard candy, gum, crackers, peanut butter, chips (in a can – like Pringles) granola bars, books, playing Cards, CD’s, DVD’s, etc.”

The Military Appreciation day will include hamburgers and drinks, presentation of Colors by the Cabot  High School ROTC, SpaceWalks, Live Bands, and a rock climbing wall provided by the Army National Guard

Exit Realty began in Canada in 1996 and opened their first US office in 2000. Now, just 8 years later, Exit Realty has over 1,200 offices spread among all 50 states and Canada, supporting more then 45,000 agents system wide.
